Paul Bunyan Comedy Festival

The Paul Bunyan Comedy Festival comes back to the Hilltop Bar & Grill in Oscoda, MI April 11 to 13, 2019. It’s the festival’s 2nd year & will celebrate stand-up comedy with 30+ comedians from across North America.
The festival will feature a variety of comedy showcases ranging from family-friendly to not so family-friendly, as well as a story-telling show & roast battle.
We have 8 showcases with our festival comedians coming to the Hilltop this year:
Thurs Apr 11th @ 7pm & 9pm
Fri Apr 12th @ 7pm & 9pm
Sat Apr 13th @ 4pm, 6pm, 8pm & 10pm
There will be a live podcast Thurs April 11th @ 11pm from one of our festival directors, Dan Bublitz, who’ll be interviewing 3 comedians discussing some rough experiences they’ve dealt with in comedy. This podcast event is free (donations welcome).
The locals only open-mic where area residents can try their hand at stand-up will be held Fri April 12th at 11pm. This will also be free (donations welcome).
Tickets are $10 online or at the Hilltop in advance (or $15 night of each show). Proceeds go to the Alzheimer’s Association
