The Oscoda-AuSable Chamber of Commerce has officially announced the dates for the 42nd Annual Art & Antiques on the Beach, scheduled for June 27–28, 2026.
For over four decades, this event has transformed Oscoda Beach Park into a vibrant open-air gallery. However, the 2026 season promises a fresh chapter in the festival’s long history with a deliberate expansion into the world of high-end vintage and curated collectibles.
A New Chapter: The Curated Vintage Experience
While "Art on the Beach" has long been a sanctuary for local artisans and makers, the Chamber is introducing a dedicated Antique & Upscale Vintage section for the 42nd anniversary. This isn't your average flea market; organizers are looking for vendors who bring a sense of history and "visual storytelling" to the shoreline.
"We are building a cohesive, elevated shopping experience," the Chamber noted in their recent call for vendors. The focus for 2026 is on authenticity—seeking out mid-century modern pieces, architectural salvage, and primitives that offer more than just utility, but a piece of the past.
The Call to Creators
The festival remains a powerhouse for the "Handmade Movement." From original canvas works to intricate jewelry and woodcrafts, the Artisan & Craft category continues to be the heartbeat of the event.
